Deposit Policy: A non-refundable deposit equal to one nights stay or 50% of a longer stay is required. A minimum stay may be required during weekends and/or peak seasons.
Cancellation Policy: Due to our size and the seasonality of our business even a single cancellation has a profound impact on our ability to re-book cancelled units and keep rates as low as possible. Although deposits are non-refundable we do encourage guests to use their deposit towards a future reservation as long as the cancellation and re-booking is made at least 7 days prior to the original arrival date.
Guests who cancel within 7 days of their expected arrival will forfeit their deposit.
No Refunds for early departures.
Children: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Pets Policy: Your pets are welcome. There is a $15 per night fee. Maximum of 3 pets. We love ours and enjoy to travel with them too. However, we do ask that you bring what will make them comfortable while away from home such as kennels, dog beds etc. and keep them off beds and furniture. Pets must be leashed at all times. Please be considerate of all and clean up after your pet.
Our Housekeeping staff loves your furry family members and don't want to upset them or accidentally let them loose. If you leave your trash and towels outside, they will exchange them for fresh ones!
Smoking: All Cottages and Guest Suites are Non-Smoking. If it is determined that units were smoked in we reserve the right to charge a $150 cleaning fee.
Please do not drive nails into trees, cut trees or deface Shin Pond Village property in any way.
Please leave campsites clean and fireplaces empty.
State law prohibits the discharge of gray and black water into the ground.
The Loon’s nest TV/Social Room is for your pleasure, please keep it clean.
Please observe quiet time from 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. (Pre-approved functions such as weddings may go later than 11:00 P.M.)
Guests are to leave their Cottage or Suite clean with dishes washed and put away. (We reserve the right to charge up to $100 cleaning fee)
Any damages should be reported immediately. (An estimate of repairs will be prepared and billed to you.)
